The Landmine and Polio Disabled Cooperative was established in 2003 by a group of artisans who received training at the Wat Than Skills Training Centre for Landmine and Polio Disabled persons. The aim of independent cooperative is to provide training and employment opportunities to disabled artisans and the underprivileged, especially women, to earn a living and improve their living situation. The Coop contributes to social development by providing training and employment opportunities to landmine, polio disabled persons and the underprivileged. Their training has enabled them to become self-supporting, confident artisans who see themselves as individuals with abilities that contribute to the development of Cambodia.
